In many cases if you've lost internet connectivity, the device in the picture to the left simply needs to be restarted. The yellow wire is the Fiber-Optic cable.
Please Do NOT unplug or tamper with the fiber-optic cable it is fragile!
The Ethernet port has a thicker cable, and you should see green lights (flashing or/or solid). If not they're usually red or yellow indicating you don't have a good conversion of the fiber to ethernet signal.
SIMPLY unplug the power cable - wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in. Wait two ro three minutes and check to see you have restored your internet service at your workstation!
Note: If you do not have internet connectivity there may be a more difficult problem with your other devices such as your firewall, an access point, or other router or switch that has faulted or failed. In this case we can try to help so send an email. If you have a professional support staff, or contracted technical support for your network give them a call after you have restarted the NoaNet Fiber Converter!
